Oracle VM 入門 (第2回、Oracle VM Managerのインストール)

前回は、OVM Serverのインストールについて、説明しました。今回はOVMの管理を管理するOVM Managerについて説明します。
OVM Managerは、OVM Serverを統合管理するためサーバで、OVM Serverを運用するために用意する必要があります。
実際には、OVM Managerの代わりに"Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control"の有償オプションや、管理するサーバが少ない場合には、libvirtやxmコマンドを使って通常のXenのように運用することも出来ます。

1. サーバの準備
   Oracle VM Managerをインストールするためのサーバを準備します。
   
   • サーバの最小スペックは次の通りです。
     
     1.83 GHz2 GB4 GB

     メモリ	2 GB
     CPU
     swap
     HDD

   • OSには、RHEL系のディストリビューションのLinuxサーバを用意します。
     正式には、RHEL 4.5以降とOracle Enterprise Linux4.5以降がサポートされています。
   • 32bitのlibaioパッケージをインストールする必要があります。
     
     
     [root@linux ~]# rpm -Uvh libaioversion.i386.rpm
   • ネットワーク・ポートは、1521番,4443番,8080番,8888番と8899番が空いていること。
   • "/etc/hosts"に、自ホストのIPアドレスが登録してあること。
     
     
     [root@jp-lin03 ~]# vi /etc/hosts
     # Do not remove the following line, or various programs
     # that require network functionality will fail.
     127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
     ::1 localhost6.localdomain6 localhost6
     192.168.3.3 ovmmgr
2. ディスクのマウント
   OVM Serverと一緒にをダウンロードしたOVM Managerのイメージを、OVM Managerをインストールするサーバにコピーしマウントします。
   
   
   [root@linux ~]# mount -o loop,ro ./OracleVM-Manager-2.2.0.iso /mnt
3. インストーラの起動
   マウントポイントに移動して、インストーラを起動します。
   
   
   [root@linux ~]# cd /mnt
   [root@linux ~]# sh ./sh runInstaller.sh
   
   (注意)

   インストーラは、X サーバを必要としています。Windowsからリモートでインストールする場合にCygwinなどX Windowサーバをインストールしてください。Linuxではリモート、ローカルに関わらずxhostコマンドとDISPLAY環境変数を使って、rootユーザがX Windowにアクセスできるように設定してください。

4. インストールタイプの選択
   インストールタイプを、インストール、アンインストール、アップグレードから選択します。今回は新規インストールなので、'1'(インストール)を選択します。
   
   
   On the command prompt, enter 1 to install Oracle VM Manager.

   3. Upgrade Oracle VM Manager
5. 管理データベースの選択
   OVMの構成情報を格納するOracle DBを指定します。
   1.はOracle XE データベースを新たにインストールします。
   2.は既存のOracleデータベースを使用します。
   今回は、'1.'を選択した場合について説明します。
   
   
   Do you want to install a new database or use an existing one? [1|2]
   1. Install a new Oracle XE database on localhost
   2. Use an existing Oracle database in my network
6. データベースのネットワーク設定
   データベースが使用するポート番号を指定します。
   "Oracle Application Express"は、WEBベースのアプリケーション開発ツール。
   "the database listener"は、データベースとアプリケーション間の通信を行います。
   
   
   Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Configuration
   -------------------------------------------------
   This will configure on-boot properties of Oracle Database 10g Express
   Edition. The following questions will determine whether the database should
   be starting upon system boot, the ports it will use, and the passwords that
   will be used for database accounts. Press to accept the defaults.
   Ctrl-C will abort.
   
   Specify the HTTP port that will be used for Oracle Application Express [8080]:
   Specify a port that will be used for the database listener [1521]:
7. データベース管理アカウントのパスワード設定
   データベース管理アカウントである"SYS"と"SYSTEM"のパスワードを設定します。
   ここでは、"SYS"と"SYSTEM"に、同じパスワードが設定されます。
   
   
   Specify a password to be used for database accounts. Note that the same
   password will be used for SYS and SYSTEM. Oracle recommends the use of
   different passwords for each database account. This can be done after
   initial configuration:

8. 自動起動の設定
   OS起動時に、データベースを起動するか否かを設定します。OVM Managerのアプリケーションは、OS起動時に使用するので接続するデータベースも自動起動するよう"Y"を選択します。

9. OVM管理ユーザ(スキーマ)のパスワード設定
   OVMの構成情報を管理するデータベース上のユーザのパスワードを設定します。
   
   
   Set default database schema to 'OVS'.

10. APサーバ管理者のパスワード設定
    アプリケーション(J2EE)サーバの管理者のパスワードを設定します。

11. キーストアのパスワード設定
    キーストアのパスワードを設定します。

12. SSL使用の選択
    OVM Managerへのアクセスにhttpsを使用するか否かの選択を行います。

13. OVM管理者のパスワード設定
    OVM Managerにログインする際のOVMの管理者のパスワードを設定します。

14. 管理メール送信先の設定
    メッセージを送るメールサーバと管理者のメールアドレスを指定します。

15. OVM Managerの設定情報の表示
    メールの設定が完了すると、WebコンソールやWEBサービスのURLが表示されて、インストールが終了します。

16. TightVNCのインストール
    Webブラウザから、仮想マシンのコンソールに接続するために、TightVNCを次のURLからダウンロードして、インストールします。
    http://oss.oracle.com/oraclevm/manager/RPMS/
    
    rpm -ivh tightvnc-java-version.noarch.rpm



17. OVM Managerへの接続確認
    「設定情報の表示」で表示された"To access the Oracle VM Manager 2.2 home page go to:"の次の行にあるURLにWebブラウザでアクセスします。
